We are coming into some rare and very difficult astrology that starts mid July and continues into 2025. The transit is a conjunction between the slow-moving planet Uranus and Algol, a fixed star located in the Perseus constellation, also known as the “demon star.”
Mars conjuncts Uranus and Algol on July 15th and the planet of war is acting as an antagonist to the already dangerous conjunction building between Uranus and Algol. Something very big is going to kick off during this time period (July 11th-20th) that is so significant that the effects continue into next year. Algol is most visible in the sky (making it more powerful in Astrology) between autumn to spring and Uranus will pass over Algol again during its retrograde motion during this period.
My regular followers will recall when I predicted that a significant and terrible event would happen in February 2022 which was the beginning of the Russia and Ukraine war and my prediction was based upon an alignment between Algol and Rahu. The star was last conjunct Uranus in the 1940’s during the second world war and featured prominently throughout the conflict.
As you can see, Algol is not a star to take lightly and the ancients considered it to be the worst, most unfortunate star in the sky. Arabic astrologers named the star “Ra’s al-ghūl” which means “Head of the Ogre.”
In Greek mythology, Algol symbolises the severed head of the gorgon Medusa when she was decapitated by Perseus, the solar hero. Medusa’s appearance was so gruesome that any person who looked at her was turned into stone. Medusa was once a beautiful maiden who was transformed into a gorgon by a furious, Pallas Athena when Poseidon raped Medusa in Athena’s temple. The beautiful and sacred became ugly and dangerous through the violation of sacred rites and the defiling of the holy places. No wonder modern feminists loathe Perseus and miss the point of the story as they themselves are the angry and murderous heads, the products of generations of gruesome kali-yuga religions.
Ancient astrologers connected Algol with executions and death by decapitation and the star was prominent in the astrology of the invention of the guillotine. More recently, Algol was connected with the foot and mouth disease crisis and other situations where the head (government or people in charge) is disconnected with the body (truth of the situation or correct actions that should be taken).
Algol is connected to horrors but there is a bright side in which the story of the archetypal solar hero, who rises to defeat the demonic realm, is a part of its mythology. However, the modern hero is a controversial person and one man’s freedom fighter is another man’s terrorist and executioner. I am curious about the form that the archetype is going to take during the 2024 – 2025 cycle of Algolian astrology. Given the state of the world and the grinding darkness of the kali-yuga, it’s likely that our hero is one that is hated by the masses (if he is known to the public,) and he will be subjected to smear campaigns and “demonised” by the far-left media. The solar archetype is someone who is much more powerful than a politician who has been voted in by the circus that we call democracy. Is he an avatar or a part of ourselves?
Ancient Egyptian astrologers differed from most other cultures in that they considered Algol as a lucky star, in fact they saw the star as the solar God Horus, the slayer of Seth who was the God of storms, violence and lies. Again, we see the story of the solar Hero rising to defeat evil and darkness and his triumph after the battle.
As Algol is historically connected with warfare and violence, it’s quite likely that the coming situation in July is going to involve war or an event which goes on to trigger one later. Uranus is the kali-yuga planet of advanced technology including the internet, digital currencies and i.ds, and everything that is anti-nature and anti-tradition. We could certainly see more censorship online and a push from the sun hating demons who masquerade as world leaders into further darkness. We must remember that we will eventually win the battle and come out of this cycle just as winter gives way to spring every year and the sun rises again each morning.
Wonderfully written, Fiona.
Thank you Fiona
